Coach Scott Askham
MMA | K1 | Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
With over 18 years of MMA experience and more than 25 years in boxing, Coach Scott Askham brings elite-level knowledge and world championship pedigree to every class. A 2nd degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Neil Owen, Scott has competed—and won—on some of the biggest stages in the world.
His fighting career includes world championship titles in both KSW and BAMMA, and he is a 6-fight UFC veteran, earning Knockout of the Night honours at UFC London: Silva vs. Bisping in 2016. He claimed Gold in the purple belt division at the 2011 British Open and took Bronze in the Absolute Division in the same year.
Scott’s coaching approach focuses on building strong, clean fundamentals. Whether striking or grappling, he emphasizes balance, body awareness, and efficiency—key traits that help students of all levels develop power, control, and confidence.
My style is, good fundamentals win fights. Teach the basics well and the rest becomes easier. Whether you're creating more power or making your body feel heavier in BJJ, I’ll help you get there with balance and efficiency.

Coach Jack Radford
Boxing
With over 20 years of experience in boxing and 17 years as a coach, Jack brings a lifetime of dedication and technical expertise to the Foundry MMA team.
Jack began his boxing journey at the age of 14 at the legendary Hard and Fast Boxing Gym in Cudworth, where he trained under esteemed coaches Fred Gummerson, Martin Utley, and Ken Waddington.
As an amateur, Jack had 36 bouts, claimed a national title, and proudly represented England in competition. His coaching education is just as impressive, he completed a two-year boxing qualification alongside a Level 3 BTEC in Sport, under the guidance of international coach Kevin Smith and national coach Mally. He later earned a degree in Sports Fitness and Coaching and holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Jack started coaching while still an active fighter and has since shaped countless athletes with his adaptable and athlete-centred approach.
My coaching style adapts to the individual. I believe every boxer has the potential to be great and it’s my job to help bring that out, no matter their starting point.
